Overview
Door-/window sensors
These sensors will detect open windows and doors and will automatically turn down the heating. When placed close to a door, the sensor will pick up if someone enters the room. If desired, an alarm notifying you will be sent via text message.
Smoke detectors
Will alarm the residents if smoke develops. If desired, an alarm will be sent via text message.
Electrical doorlocks
Enables you to open a front/kitchen door, the garage door or gate via text message.
A comfortable, warm home upon arrival. How? By simply sending an SMS with the desired temperature to the ICY connect.
An SMS will notify you or your central heating fitter in case of an alarm or interruption in supply. The possibilities are wide and varied!

General
Is it possible to use my own SIM card?
No, the SIM card works on the basis of 'machine to machine' communication. Therefore the ICY Connect only functions with the pre-installed SIM card.
Are the listed prices including or excluding VAT?
Consumer prices are including VAT
Does the ICY Connect work in other outside the Netherlands?
Yes, ICY Connect works outside the Netherlans. When ICY Connect is used in other countrie, it only works with prepaid credit packs and not with subscriptions. Credit packs can be bought after registration of your ICY Connect.
Are ICY Connect alerts enabled or disabled by default?
Alerts, like smoke alerts, frost alerts and power cut alerts are on by default.
Technical problems/questions
When I dial the phone number that I have received, nothing happens. Why?
The phone number you have received is the phone number of your ICY Connect. You can only use this number to text commands to. Text messages that you receive from ICY Connect also will be sent from this number.
What do I do when I get an error on the ICY Connect display that is not listed in the manual?
If you see an error on your ICY Connect display, please contact our service department by sending an email to service [at] icy-connect [dot] nl.
How long should it take for the ICY Connect to receive a text message?
Usually this only takes seconds. In some cases it can take longer for the text message to reach the ICY Connect. This is called the 'response time' and can take up to several minutes. This is also the case with phones and has nothing to do with the ICY Connect.
Does the ICY Connect work on the basis fo WiFi?
No, the ICY Connect communicates through the ICY-Net protocol. This means that all wireless ICY products can communicate with each other within a network. You don't have to make a special network.
Credits
How long are Credits valid?
Credit packs are valid for 6 months. After 6 months the number of credits left will automatically be set to nill, unless a new Credit pack is bought within those six months.
Subscription
In which cases does the right of withdrawal expire?
If you make use the service within 7 working days the right of withdrawal expires.
How will my personal details be used and for which purposes?
You can find an answer to this question in the general terms and conditions consumers in article 16.
In which way can I exercise my right of withdrawal?
In order to rescind the contract you have to make notion of this within aforementioned term to I.C.Y. B.V., customer services department on phone number 0514-563424.
