Which colours are available?
The clever thermostat is available in black or white.
Is the Clever Thermostat self-learning?
No. The thermostat was developed with energy saving as the main focus. The thermostat is not self-learning, because this feature would not promote energy saving.
Is the thermostat fitted with weather dependent control?
No. The thermostat was developed with energy saving as a central focus. In most situations a weather dependent control feature doesn't promote energy saving.
Is the Clever Thermostat a modulating thermostat?
Yes. The thermostat supports modulating heating systems. Whether this feature works, depends on your heating system.
Does the motion detector respond to pets?
No, the thermostat was set in such a way that pets shouldn't influence the motion detector.
In specific situations, e.g. a Danish dog, it is possible that the pet does influence the motion detector.
Installation
Does the thermostat work on Nefit heating systems?
Yes, but only if a ICY3710PC Power Converter is connected between the thermostat and the heater. This costs € 47,60 (incl VAT) and can be purchased from I.C.Y.
Is it better to connect the thermostat to OpenTherm® or to the on/off connection?
If your heating system is equiped with OpenTherm®, we suggest connecting to this. Please read the connection table for instructions.

Can a user calibrate the Clever Thermostat?
No.
Programming
Is it possible to program more than one switching moment on any given day?
Yes, the thermostat is fitted with a week clock. You choose for each day on which moments the thermostat should switch on or off.
I have wet the programme for the week clock, but the thermostat never switches to anti-frost. How come?
When the time between two switching moments, switching to comfort is shorter than the dormant period, the thermostat will never switch to anti-frost.
