ICY Control Center is a clear and easy-to-use software application. From ICY Control Center, you can wirelessly change and read the settings of connected equipment. Think of energy-saving thermostats, central heating pressure alarms, frost alarms, etc. It is also possible to read energy meter readings from smart meters, so you can see how consumption is in different branches at any time.

Boels

Boels is the largest party in machine and tool rental in the BeNeLux with over 320 branches in Europe. In 2013, Boels purchased Timer Thermostats in combination with ICY Facility Management. This thermostat detects whether someone is present in the building and switches off the heating when the premises are empty and when it is dark. This has resulted in a significant reduction in gas consumption and thus lower CO2 emissions. It has also saved them a lot of money. Boels measured savings of 37% in 2014, and 52% in 2015 according to Laura Bock from Boels.

In addition to this, the software offers the ability to monitor daily consumption of both gas and electricity. This offers the possibility of seeing which branch office consumes the most energy and thus where the biggest savings can be made.

Nitta Belting

Nitta Corporation in Alkmaar produces and supplies a full range of conveyor belts. Nitta uses ICY Control Center to control the gas heaters in 6 different halls.

Sedac-Mecobel

Sedac-Mecobel is part of Sedac-Meral and is based in Belgium. They make frames of bed bases for Ikea, among others, spread over 9 halls. Sedac-Mecobel uses ICY Control Center to control large gas heaters in the various halls.

Wireless communication

Devices connected to ICY Control Center communicate with each other wirelessly. No expensive data cables therefore need to be drawn. This communication occurs via a proprietary frequency, so the wireless signal is not sensitive to interference and does not cause any interference.
